Strategically located in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metropolitan Area, our company provides rapid solutions to complex manufacturing and conveyor projects, combining a strong foundation of engineering practice and client-centered project management skills.

Our History

  • SmartHub Machining LLC started in November 2025.

  • The two owners of SmartHub Machining decided to take their manufacturing experience and all their travel knowledge and apply it to start their own business, creating a quality-focused team.

  • Dr. Hector Siller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Texas. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's and Ph.D. in Manufacturing and Technology Innovation, respectively. He is an expert in Manufacturing Engineering with 25 years of experience in product development and research on manufacturing processes. He developed research and engineering projects for companies such as Honeywell Aerospace, Navistar, and others. Currently, he develops workforce development programs for companies in North America focused on machining operations, and he is an active member of the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA).

  • Pedro Hernandez is a seasoned supply chain and project management leader with 21 years of experience driving multimillion-dollar EPC projects across manufacturing, power generation, oil & gas, material automation and international logistics industries. Known for optimizing global operations, reducing lead times and leading multidisciplinary teams of up to 460 professionals, he blends strategic vision with hands-on execution. Fluent in English and Spanish, MBA in global corporate strategy, educated, holds an associate level in lean manufacturing; trained on six sigma, Agile Scrum, and PMP methodologies. His career reflects a consistent commitment to efficiency, innovation, and client success.
